Welcome to Farm to Family Food Network’s (FFFN) web home! I hope you will find this system easy to use.
FFFN is based in the Saranac Lake area. It is dedicated to providing fresh local (within 100 miles of SL) products to families in the Saranac Lake area. It was started over 3 years ago to help provide the yummy food offered during Farmers’ Market season on a year-round basis. Here’s how it works. For a small annual membership fee to cover the overhead ($38), you can be part of the FFFN network. This allows you to order products from our website once a month from a variety of area farmers. We notify the members via email on a Friday when the order has opened and the Pick Up is the following Wed. at a convenient site in Saranac Lake between the hours of 5 – 7, unless you’ve made alternative arrangements with Melinda.
The beauty of the program is that it’s not only a wonderful resource for good food, it’s also a great way to keep our local farmers going during the off season months. In any given year, the program pumps between $7500 – $10000 into their pockets.
